Teachers' Examination Part 1 & Part 2 plus any Repeats (Part 1 & Part 2) will be held twice yearly depending on the number of applications received. Online examinations are accepted thrice yearly on 1^st January, 1^st April, and 1^st September in consultation with the Panel.
Teachers' Examination Part 1 is open to candidates 18 years and over in the year of the examination.
Teachers’ Examination Part 2 is open to candidates 21 and over in the year of the exam.
Application is to be made in writing to the Secretary of the C.R.N. Examination Panel and to be received not later than 1 month before the examination.
All candidates must attend a recognised teacher training course. Course duration 60 hours minimum for each part = 120 hours in total.
All candidates must also complete a minimum of 20 hours teaching practice for each part = 40 hours in total.
All applications must include a reference from a Trainer, birth certificate plus the relevant fee as outlined below for the examination. If the applicant is a Mature Student the Trainer must notify the panel in advance giving full dance and teaching history to date ( This is required for record purposes). NB Mature Students do not have to supply a birth certificate.
