CRN Australia

CRN Australia. In August 2010 the Executive Committee of CRN set about promoting and encouraging the development of CRN in the Southern Hemisphere. A two week programme of workshops, meetings and class competitions led to the establishment of CRN Australia.

Now operating across the States of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia, CRN are offering classes, teacher/pupil workshops, grade and teacher examinations and an active involvement for all members in the running and promoting of our traditional dance form in Australia and further afield.

Since its inception in 1982, CRN has witnessed the massive Global expansion of the organisation across Europe and the USA, with its Open Platform Policy and emphasis on tradition and transparency in Irish dancing, this Global expansion is set to continue as CRN celebrates its 30th Anniversary next year.

CRN can offer Australian teachers and dancers the opportunity to compete and study for the Teacher (ODCRN) and Adjudicator (ADCRN) Diplomas. We currently have candidates pursuing their dance teacher qualification while operating successful schools in their Region. This is due to the fact that CRN offer two forms of membership, Associate membership (Teacher in Training) and Full membership (those who have obtained their ODCRN or equivalent teacher qualification).
